Never ever ever go on a social media site without a timer
If you use social media in any way to market your business, you know how it can suck the time right out of your day.
You go on to Instagram to reply to a comment on one of your posts and an hour later you're like, "What just happened? I somehow got sucked into the Instagram void."
Warning: this can also happen with Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest. Don't even get me started on Pinterest.
The struggle is REAL.
So, what to do?
We can't NOT go on social media. Many of us use it to grow our businesses.
So, we have to come up with something.
My best solution so far is to use a timer.
I try not to go on any social media without setting a timer first.
I decide how much time I have, set the timer, and go take care of business.
I don't always do it perfectly, but it does help.
